One Page, One Truth: A Journal Prompt to Get You Started

You’ve probably seen a hundred ads telling you to “find yourself” or “start your journey” through journaling — usually followed by some overly designed $40 notebook with gold foil lettering - This isn’t that - This is about one page, one question, one honest answer.

Because sometimes, what we really need is a quiet moment and a place to put the truth down — somewhere it won’t be interrupted, talked over, or forgotten.
🪶 Start Here:
“What have I been putting off — emotionally, mentally, or physically — that I need to face or release?”
You don’t need to overthink it. You don’t even need to write in full sentences.
Just get the answer out of your head and onto the page. It might be heavy. It might be simple. It might surprise you. But it will free up space.
🧠 Why This Matters
If you’ve spent most of your life taking care of everyone else — raising kids, holding down a job, staying strong through tough seasons — it’s easy to lose track of your own voice.
Journaling isn’t about being poetic. It’s about making space for you — especially in a world that’s trained you to make space for everyone else first.
✍️ Not Sure What to Say? Start with:
“I’ve been ignoring this because...”
“I’m scared to admit that...”
“I want to let go of...”
There are no wrong answers. No grammar rules. Just you and the truth.

Final Thought:
This isn’t about healing everything in one sitting. It’s about starting again — with one honest page. You’ve carried enough. Now it’s your turn to speak — even if it’s just to yourself.
